FLLG worked closely with District staff and residents to deliver this neighborhood park, on time and under budget. This park was the only Sacramento area park to receive grant money from State of California Prop. 84 funds. The park site generated passionate input from the local neighborhood, as it has remained undeveloped for years while several development proposals were made to build houses on its 14 acres. Today, through community fundraisers and grant money, all fourteen acres will remain as an Oak woodland rural refuge, with 2 acres of developed trails, tot lot and play area, open turf, and picnic facilities. Approvals, improvement plans, bidding, and construction were fast tracked - commencing in February 2011 and ending in a large neighborhood celebration and parade in September 2011.
